Job Description - Quality Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

  • Deploy quality management tools for incoming parts and assemblies.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis for issues.
  • Update supplier compliance dashboard and lead quality reviews.
  • Ensure compliance and quality of parts and assemblies.
  • Approve APQP/PPAP deliverables and compliant processes.
  • Lead supplier quality reviews and propose issue resolution pilots.
  • Implement escalation process for parts and assemblies.
  • Lead coaching for strategic suppliers on complaint processes.
  • Manage root cause analysis and change requests for 100% quality at launch.
  • Analyze quality data and implement cost-effective corrective actions.
  • Manage engineering changes and ensure timely execution.
  • Conduct product evaluation tests and be the point of contact for quality incidents.
  • Analyze quality data and provide insights for new opportunities.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a technical environment.

 

This position is located in Detroit Area, candidate must be able to work under TN Visa.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Experience in supplier quality management and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of APQP/PPAP processes and compliance standards.
