Billing Clerk

Description If you want to use your organizational skills in the Transport industry, Robert Half has an opening for a detailed Billing Clerk. This is a great Billing Clerk employment is with an organization in the Transport industry and is based in the Mississauga, Ontario area. As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for reviewing bills and compiling data into spreadsheets and accounting software. We are looking for someone who has excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the continued success of the organization for this Billing Clerk role. What you get to do every single day

• Gauge billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary
• Build financial controls and procedures
• Investigate, process, and evaluate bills or invoices for services rendered
• Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data consistency and excellence

Requirements

• Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred
• Billing experience
• Deep understanding of Payroll Functions
• Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance- Ability to work with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
