Job Description - Business Development Manager

Multiverse is a well-funded and fast-growing deep-tech company founded in 2019. We are one of the few companies working with Quantum Computing and the biggest Quantum Software company in the EU.

We provide hyper-efficient software to companies wanting to gain an edge with quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Our product, Singularity, is a software platform that contains quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms developed and patented through proof-of-concept trials we have been performing for industrial and service clients. As a Business Development, Technical Sales Manager, you will

Responsibilities

  • Performs product sales activities for new/renewal business with an assigned set of accounts to achieve or exceed given product and service revenue objectives.

  • Partners with field and enterprise sales within the company and Channel partners, to collaboratively develop and proactively execute strategies that drive product and service revenue as part of an overall account strategy.

  • Effectively contributes to all stages of the sales process.

  • Facilitates communication with the sales and technical team for updates on product capabilities, success stories and winning strategies.

  • Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business for the organisation’s products and services.

  • Participates in industry shows and conventions.

  • Creates and leads advanced solution presentations to match identified customer needs using the company's products & services. Identifies Multiverse Computing's advantages and positions Multiverse Computing’s products and services as superior to competitive offerings.

  • Coordinates and organises technical support for demos, PoCs, support of evaluation, training etc.

  • Works with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations, and value propositions for current and prospective customers.

  • Provides client feedback to product development and marketing staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: MSc/degree in technical, engineering
  • +5 years of sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technology applications
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, ability to work independently, and with other functional teams (DEV, Marketing, PM etc.)
  • Ability to foster collaboration & coordination with personnel distributed across multiple global sites.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine appropriate solutions for customers.
  • Travel: up to 50%
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Combination of a degree in Science/Engineering and an MBA
  • Fluency in French or Spanish language
