Our client is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as Data Reporting Analyst in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will provide datadriven recommendations offer subject matter expertise in data management and support analytics projects. This role is pivotal in optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of global operations strategies through robust data analysis and insightful reporting.

Responsibilities:

Provide DataDriven Recommendations to Global Operations Strategy Team 35%

Be a trusted business partner working collaboratively with teams to optimize analysis and insights.

Use data to build a fact base to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of operations strategies.

Interpret data to identify and analyze trends deriving actionable insights aligned with business objectives.

Champion new tools and techniques to enhance data and analytics reporting capabilities.

Work independently proactively taking ownership of key analytical projects and supporting strategy implementation.

Provide Subject Matter Expertise in Data Management 30%

Support data validation consolidation and cleansing processes; identify and resolve data quality issues.

Automate processes to improve data availability turnaround time and increase reporting efficiency.

Assess analyze and continuously innovate all aspects of data reporting and analytics for the Global Operations team.

Transform business requests into valueadd deliverables including data mapping aggregation and cleansing.

Deliver Ad Hoc Reporting and Support Analytics Projects 35%

Create visualizations reports and dashboards to track strategic KPIs for key stakeholders.

Drive business intelligence tool adoption within the business community and train users.

Ensure data captured effectively measures the overall success of the Global Operations team.

Align performance management tracking and reporting with other key stakeholders including Finance Risk Management and Marketing teams.

What you will need to succeed:

University degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics Science Engineering Computer Science).

5 years of experience in data analytics data mining or statistics.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Qlikview).

Proficiency in analysis packages and programming languages such as SQL R Python and/or SAS.

Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to liaise with executives and senior management.

Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to present complex information concisely.

Ability to evaluate the feasibility and practicality of ideas comfortable in highpressure environments.

Proven team builder and collaborator capable of building strategic partnerships with internal clients and vendors.

Knowledge of Big Data Platforms and tools (e.g. Hadoop Spark) is a plus.
