Reporting to the Supervisor Deal Entry, the Deal Entry Analyst ensures all Trade Capture is carried out in an accurate and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant Gibson policies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Captures deals on behalf of Marketing Traders and Supply Reps.
- Collects and analyzes deal information.
- Collaborates with Pricing & Contracts, Logistics and Trading and assists with information retrieval.
- Performs all checks and balances to ensure no deals are missing and/or deviating from appropriate vetting process.
- Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Finance or relevant discipline.
- 0 - 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience in Right Angle considered and asset.
- Customer focus, providing our best service to both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work in a positive, team-oriented environment and achieving high levels of performance with a strong customer focus.
- Has a basic understanding of Crude/NGL/commodity marketing.
- Demonstrates an attention to detail.
- Possesses great organizational skills.
- Ability to handle internal stakeholders' questions and complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure to complete assignments on time.
- Communicate efficiently, both internally and externally.
