Reporting to the Equity Mine Sr. Supervisor, the Environmental Technical Representative is responsible for environmental monitoring and reporting of the Equity site. To help ensure Equity complies with all regulations, that Equity maintains a proactive approach to all environmental concerns and maintains good relations with the regulating authorities and the public.

Job duties include working within an environment that presents regular exposure to potential electric shocks, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and wet and humid environments. There is a potential to be exposed, occasionally, to extreme heat, cold, and slick working surfaces. Employees will periodically be working around radioactive materials.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $ $83,900 to $104,900 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
