Meewasin is the steward of the beautiful Meewasin Valley which is on Treaty Six Territory and the traditional homeland of the Mtis people. We acknowledge this as part of our organizations efforts towards reconciliation and honour the vast knowledge held by traditional Indigenous caretakers of the land as we work alongside them today. Reporting to the Marketing & Fund Development Manager/Education & Experiences Manager, the Events Assistant is responsible for supporting the coordination and delivery of Meewasins public events, including volunteer initiatives, community events and tourism offerings. Full time summer position; hours of work 37.5 per week; scheduling will include weekend and evening work. This is an SGEU in-scope position.
