2024 Fair Lottery Vendor & Vendor Clerk 

Fair Lottery Vendor: Commission (5% of sales) or $17.40/hour (plus 5% in lieu of benefits and vacation)

Dates: The PNE Fair runs from Saturday, August 17 – Monday, September 2

Hours : The PNE Fair is open from 11AM – 11PM
Availability Requirements: Must be available for up to full-time hours (40 hours per week) including evenings, weekends, and late nights from August 17 – September 2.

What will you do this year?

In your role as a  Lottery Vendor, your primary accountabilities will be to:

• Sell PNE Prize Home lottery tickets to guest on site during the PNE Fair and meet daily sales and commission targets.
• Work independently, standing at an assigned location within the Fairgrounds for the duration of the shift.
• Attract customers through promotion of various lottery prizes.
• Accurately balance the sale of tickets and cash with daily transactions.
• Responsible for accurate verification and accounting of the daily transactions (tickets sold and money received).
• Provide exceptional and friendly guest service.
• Ensure PNE Uniforms and Appearance Policy is always adhered to.

What else?

• Must be at least 19 years of age or older due to licensing requirements.
• Must have successful completion of Grade 12.
• Must be available for up to full-time hours from August 17 – September 2, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be vocal, highly enthusiastic and have an outgoing attitude that will motivate guests to purchase lottery tickets.
• Previous sales (outside sales, commission sales), marketing (experiential marketing, field marketing), vendor (Street Vendor) or promotions (street team) experience is preferred.
• Strong and meticulous mathematical ability is an asset.
