Job Description - HR Recruiter

Description A dynamic organization in the Non-Profit industry working with Robert Half is in need of a highly-skilled Human Resources Recruiter. As the Human Resources Recruiter, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting in support of a diverse array of positions across varying departments such as accounting, marketing, operations, administrative and technology. If you are a self-starter wanting to learn and to grow, our client is looking for someone like you. Not only will you handle recruiting functions, you will also be in charge of a variety of personnel related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department. Highly-skilled and proactive Human Resources Recruiters will find this skill-sharpening role a great match. This long-term contract / contract to permanent employment opportunity is based in the Newmarket, Ontario area. Your responsibilities
  • Maintaining new-permanent on-boarding paperwork/orientations
  • Fulfilling interviews
  • Taking advantage of digital recruiting resources
  • Composing and posting job opportunity advertisements
  • Overseeing various administrative duties
  • Formulating internal recommendations
  • Identifying and filtering candidates through various sources and platforms
Requirements
  • Knowledge in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience writing procedure manuals, user instructions, business correspondence, and general report writing
  • The top candidates have proficiency with office applications and software, as well as social media platforms
  • Kronos Timekeeping System experience
  • Practical knowledge of documentation
  • General familiarity with Benefit Functions
  • Proficiency in Careerbuilder
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Background Checks
  • ADP Financial Services experience desired
  • Adeptness in About Time
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Hiring Processes experience highly preferred
  • Candidates who are highly detail oriented, as well as able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity, will be preferred
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
