Position Title: DevOps Engineer

Position Summary: 

 The IT DevOps Engineer (Azure Cloud) will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure on the Azure cloud platform. This role will collaborate with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to automate processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the smooth operation of our cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and software development.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security 
• Collaborate with development teams to design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines on Azure DevOps 
• Automate software builds, testing, and deployments using Azure DevOps and other relevant tools 
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Terraform
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance on Azure 
• Implement and maintain containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes on Azure 
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and implement security best practices on Azure 
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Azure cloud, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations 

Position Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on Azure cloud technologies 
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security 
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, including build and release management 
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or terraform
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes on Azure 
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in Azure environments 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills 

Preferred Requirements: 

• Certification in Azure cloud technologies (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer) 
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or other serverless technologies 
• Knowledge of networking and security concepts in Azure 
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, or similar
