Marketing Associate, -month contract

Ecolab Canada’s largest division, Institutional, has an opening for a Marketing Specialist, 6-month contract who will support marketing initiatives within market segments linked with Foodservice, Hospitality and Long-term care facilities customers, supporting product lines/programs or segments. The position will prepare and coordinate trade show facilitation, key product introductions, and promotional activities to support sales growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be the key contact to support and manage trade show facilitation in Toronto (about 3-4 shows)
• Build effective relationships with US head office counterparts and cross-functional team members
• Run day to day marketing operations: pricing, product setup
• Assist with sales collateral (edit, contribute, disseminate)
• Respond to field relating to marketing strategies, and gather voice of business
• Demonstrate digital strategy expertise and extensive financial acument using systems, processes and technologies to execute sales activation activities
• Research and track competitive activities within the Canadian marketplace
• Additional marketing duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required! Education confirmation will be reviewed. New university grads welcome!
• 1 to 3 years of professional B2B marketing experience would be an asset
• Field sales experience would be considered an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent presentation, written and oral communications skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple, complex projects

Location: Applicants based in the Greater Toronto Area

Office : Hybrid (3 days from home, 2 days in the Mississauga office)
