About this Role

We are on the hunt for an amazing Head of Marketing at Daloop. This role will report to our CEO, Jane Hoffer, and will be responsible for creating and implementing our marketing strategy.

Responsibilities include refining Daloop’s marketing strategy, creating quarterly goals and proposing budget; recruiting and managing a team of high-performing specialists; and most important, meeting our quantitative marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B SaaS marketing experience at an early-stage startup.

We are based in Porto, in sunny Portugal, with GMT office hours, but we are inclusive of remote work and your personal working hours can be based +/- 2 hours GMT.

You will...

• Refine and execute the marketing strategy to establish Daloop as a category leader.
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns through multiple channels that reach Daloop’s target customer, with powerful positioning that drives business growth.
• Build and run core marketing functions including Digital Marketing, Product marketing, Brands and Comms.
• Be a member of our executive team, participating in key decisions around strategy and company culture.
• Create and nurturing a highly effective feedback loop of understanding and coordination among Product, Sales and Marketing.
• Own messaging and our value proposition across channels, leveraging feedback from prospects in the sales funnel as well as existing customers
• Identify, hire and manage a team of high-performing specialists
• Foster a data-driven environment, owning the data and martech infrastructure to support an excellent marketing program
• Oversee the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.

We’re looking for someone who...

• You’ve built a marketing function from scratch (or close to it!), and you’re eager to do that all over again with an incredibly fast-growing product 
• Our priority is demand generation: top candidates will have experience driving B2B SaaS marketing strategy to support 3X+ YoY growth. Must have held a “commit” (leads, opportunities, and/or revenue)
• Has developed and executed an inbound marketing strategy into a sales funnel that will feed our mid-market business.
• Ideally, you’ve also run an ABM motion because we sell into the enterprise too.
• Fluency with metrics relevant to both marketing and sales in B2B SaaS, and translating insights into action
• A “roll up your sleeves” mentality, initiative, and comfort with the process of doing a thing and then replacing yourself
• Strong people management, mentoring, coaching, and development experience
• Passion for what we’re building here at Daloop
