DIOR Canada is looking for an analytical Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager is a key member of our marketing & media team, working collaboratively with internal teams to support business strategy, new product launches and customer programs.
The ideal candidate will be a problem solver with a strong background on data analysis and reporting with the ability to create compelling narratives and support business decisions.
Responsible for planning and executing data driven marketing programs in line with company objectives to support sales and drive revenue through a deep understanding of the marketing mix (5P’s).
Key Accountabilities
Marketing Strategy and Execution
· Creation and execution of yearly marketing plan to drive revenue, increase top of mind and reinforce brand awareness and positioning
· Analyses Cosmetica’s marketing mix to constantly improve the tactics for better performance
· Supports the Marketing Director in the ideation and execution of 360° marketing plans for new launches
· Supports creation and refinement of brand and product messaging, ensuring key messaging is consistent across all customer touchpoints
· Owns relationship with external vendors/tools to support the strategy
· Tracks departmental KPIs and brings new ideas to measure success in an effective way
· Performs competitive analyses, analyzing risks and opportunities
Market Intelligence and Analytics
· Analyzes sales data, industry trends, product reviews, and competitive research to identify actionable insights
· Deeply researches customers’ brands to bring recommendations to the sales and product development teams
· Reports insights and recommendations in a visual, compelling way
· Keeps track of market share (Circana Group), category growth, forecasts, trends, customers, and competitors
Other responsibilities:
· TRI-AXE product strategy, go to market and forecasting (LPs).Canada Specific.
· Forecast POSM launches and Basic. Includes Merchandising elements.
· Allocated POSM – includes tester mapping for all 3 axes.
· CUSTOMER FACING EXPERIENCES (IN MALL ACTIVITIES)
· Ideates and delivers best in class Events / experiences
· Create and adapt Seasonal market decks customized by retail partner with specific by retailer data and execution. Canada Specific
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Marketing (strategic planning and execution, 5 Ps’)
· Previous experience in data reporting and analysis (Circana, AC Nielsen or other databases)
· Project management expertise with strong cross-functional relationship management and keen ability to keep projects on track
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong time management skills and prioritization
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including visual presentation skills.
· Results-oriented team player
· Beauty industry experience is a must.
· Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
