Planning & Development Manager
Location: GTAWest (Pickering)
Join our team as a Planning & Development Manager responsible for overseeing all Land & Planning activities across multiple home building & Midrise development projects in the GTAWest region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead land and planning activities from initial development approval to project completion
- Act as the primary liaison with municipalities approval bodies and consultants
- Manage and coordinate all submission materials for various development processes
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing for sales launches and Condominium Disclosure Documents
- Engage with Condominium Boards and Municipalities postconstruction for necessary approvals
- Conduct research to expedite development projects
- Attend and coordinate community meetings related to development projects
Requirements:
- Strongly prefer a background in Urban Planning or Architecture
- 5 to 8 years of experience in residential development industry
- Direct management experience in largescale projects with significant financial implications
- Ability to lead and motivate teams think creatively and negotiate effectively
- Sound fiscal management and IT knowledge
- Extensive experience in planning and development within the builder industry
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Focus on small and large infill and mixeduse projects
