Marketing Assistant

Job Description:

Avon Products is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing team in executing various marketing initiatives and campaigns to promote our products and brand. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals who are looking to kickstart their career in marketing.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns - Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and consumer preferences - Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including promotional materials, social media content, and advertisements - Coordinate and execute marketing events, trade shows, and product launches - Support the marketing team in day-to-day administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and creative teams, to ensure alignment on marketing initiatives - Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Adaptable and reliable team player - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically - Prior experience in marketing or related field is a plus, but not required
