The company is currently seeking a Marketing Manager , with expertise in developing and implementing strategies to enhance market presence. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of responsibilities, from strategic planning to the oversight of day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring all activities align with the brand’s identity.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Manager at Creative At Home Inc., will have the responsibility to develop and grow awareness of the company’s 2 main brands: CRAFT Artisan Wood Floors, and UrbanWood Floors. 

Responsibilities include managing the marketing budget, developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence, and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with the brands’ identities. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should be willing to take on a broad range of duties related to marketing, ranging from executive-level decision-making to many of the day-to-day tasks required to complete ongoing projects.

The Marketing Department is currently comprised of a competent Senior Graphic Designer, with a lot of ongoing input from the CEO. The successful candidate will supervise the Senior Graphic Designer and will likely be in a position to add a new role of Marketing Assistant to the team in the short to mid-term.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to create awareness of the company’s brands, from ideation to execution;

  • Identify target audiences, creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate;

  • Responsible for digital advertising campaigns, SEM, and SEO;

  • Be responsible for managing and producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, including social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), etc.;

  • Content creation for both digital and traditional media, including website;

  • Supervising one or more team members in the marketing department;

  • Design and execution of promotional events & industry tradeshows;

  • Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects;

  • Plan and execute initiatives for new product launches;

  • Monitor progress and submit performance reports;

  • Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements;

  • Public relations & strategic partnerships;

  • Collaborate with the sales team in order to support business development activities.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field;

  • 10 years of experience as a marketing professional, including management experience;

  • 5+ years of experience specifically in digital marketing and a proven track record of success; 

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing;

  • Solid knowledge of website development and analytics tools; 

  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics;

  • Ability to travel when required;

  • Architecture and Design industry experience (a very big asset).
