JLL is currently hiring a Research Analyst to join our team in Vancouver. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our local Industrial team while also contributing to the overall success of our National Research team. This role sits and interacts daily with the Industrial team in the downtown office.

As a Research Analyst, we rely on you to collect and analyze data, ensuring its accuracy and quality. Y ou will closely track and analyze all aspects of the local industrial market. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our Research team to present this data in a compelling and insightful manner to develop a best-in-class research program that sets JLL apart from the competition. The analyst participates in an industry-wide assessment within the GVA each quarter, requiring all candidate to have the ability to drive and access to a reliable vehicle.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :

• Collect and audit industrial real estate and economic data, including data on properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales and owners

• Follow established processes to ensure data excellence within our database, and regularly audit and refine datasets
• Analyze market data to identify trends and understand economic and real estate market drivers
• Present market insights and conditions as needed to internal teams and clients
• Create compelling visualizations and provide meaningful insights on local market data, trends and drivers
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients and facilitate the use of our technology tools
• Demonstrate our tools and research capabilities to internal teams and clients
• Develop and share best practice standards

WHAT YOU BRING :

• Relevant bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and database systems
• Exposure or familiarity with visualization tools preferred
• Strong organizational, data collection, validation and auditing skills
• Motivated and self-starting with a desire to succeed and contribute to the success of a team
• Analytical skills, problem-solving ability and written and oral communication skills
• Passion for economic and real estate market drivers and/or urban planning and development

Estimated compensation for this position is:

Salary ranges are based on market data, which is reviewed annually and includes consideration of geographic location. An employment offer is based on an applicant’s experience, education, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
