Senior Analyst, Pricing

As the Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for the effective completion of pricing initiatives and various operational activates for residential mortgages and secured lines of credit. Candidates must be comfortable with a flexible work schedule. Currently the schedule for this role is Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00am-6:30pm EST, which may be subject to change to best support business needs.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

 

• Manage exception requests for mortgages and secured lines of credit
• Use thoughtful leadership in evaluating exception requests that merit more flexibility while balancing profitability
• Assist in the tracking of rates authorized outside policy
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder requests for reports and other pricing related matters
• Support with pricing initiatives and financial analysis
• Assist in the execution of different rate changes
• Maintain a good understanding of the competitive landscape and inform the team of any changes in the competitors’ rates or programs
• Provide active support to the rest of the team in all other recurring and operational activities
• Execute daily activities including rate monitoring spread calculation and rate sheet distribution
• Complete regular reporting on pricing activities, authorizations, exception levels and competitive review
• Provide relevant reporting and analysis on the exception process including exception results across all channels for both pricing and policy requests
• Provide support to the maintenance of compensation and reporting platforms, ensuring they are updated in a timely and accurate manner
• Work collaboratively with team members or other RESL teams to advance the group’s analytical and reporting initiatives
  
   

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

• Previous analytical focused work experience
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Knowledge of the mortgage business and retail products in general with an emphasis on product pricing
• Strong communication skills, good judgement, attention to detail and strong decision-making skills
• Comfortability using MS Office applications, specifically Excel
• Strong prioritizing, presentation and planning skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
• The ability to work independently, with a proactive and willingness to learn attitude
• Knowledge of Branch Banking operations is an asset
