The Vancouver Capital Markets team is exceptionally busy, and our business is growing exponentially. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support our broker team. In this key role, the team relies on the financial analyst to provide valuation work and coordinate all aspects of due diligence for some of the largest income-producing and development real estate transactions across BC and Western Canada. With a track record of successfully transacting over $10 billion in real estate, our team is at the forefront of the industry. What you’ll be Doing :

• Creating ARGUS Enterprise (and ARGUS Developer) valuation models and various sensitivity analyses.
• Utilize your exceptional financial modeling skills to create additional Excel-based analytical tools, delivering accurate insights and forecasts.
• Organize and oversee the due diligence and closing process for complex real estate transactions, ensuring every detail is accounted for.
• Collaborate with our brokers to prepare high-quality client deliverables and influential presentations that drive successful outcomes.
• Be the driving force behind preparing compelling financial analysis for proposals and offering materials that showcase our expertise and work planning capabilities.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market and transaction data, providing critical inputs for project-specific deliverables.

What you Bring :

• 3+ years of work experience as a financial analyst, preferably with a focus on commercial real estate.
• Proven experience with ARGUS Enterprise (experience with ARGUS Developer considered an additional asset) creating financial models for all major income-producing asset classes.
• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Real Estate with excellent academic credentials.
• CFA designation is considered an asset.
• Strong ability to read and interpret financial budgets, tenant leases and rent rolls.
• Exceptional ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information, translating them into strategic deliverables.
• Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software. Adobe programs such as In-Design are of value as well.
• Deadline and results oriented people who can focus and thrive under pressure and with strong multi-tasking skills.

Salary ranges are based on market data, which is reviewed annually and includes consideration of geographic location. An employment offer is based on an applicant’s experience, education, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
