Job Description

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES : 

• You will draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and other legal documents, particularly in the areas of information technology, sales, distribution & procurement; 

• You will support VOSKER's compliance with applicable international laws and regulations, particularly with regard to the protection and confidentiality of personal data; 

• You will participate in the identification of needs and the development of internal and external corporate governance policies and processes.   

• You will define and implement interdepartmental processes to ensure proper contract management and increased efficiency of the legal department; 

• You will participate in the training and education of employees in the various departments on legal risks and opportunities; 

• You will provide timely legal support to the Finance and Growth team in its various investment and financing projects.

Qualifications

THE EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO TAKE US FURTHER:

• Bachelor's degree in law; 

• 5-7 years’ experience in commercial law; 

• 3 years' experience in data privacy law; 

• 2 years' experience in corporate law; 

• Good ability to work in a team; 

• Be autonomous, resourceful and organized; 

• Demonstrate rigor, commitment, be curious and proactive; 

• Ability to work under high pressure and make decisions quickly if needed; 

• Ability to communicate in both French and English (written/verbal).  Frequent communication outside of Quebec.  

• Creativity and ease at proposing business-orientated legal advice that support the company's growth; and 

• Be motivated and passionate about excellence, innovation and contributing to the company's growth and success.
