Job Description - Senior Manager, Content Marketing

Loopio is a workplace that unleashes learning & growth opportunities for our Loopers. We provide autonomous, challenging work that allows each employee to master their craft. We attract and retain people who are naturally curious, have grit and are eager to grow and build their careers. At Loopio, we genuinely support each other, because true success comes from working as #oneteam.

We’re seeking a creative and analytical Sr. Manager, Content Marketing to join our growing Marketing Team.

Is this one of the coolest jobs at Loopio? We think so. Hear us out:

As a company, we’re on a mission to help high-growth companies turn their RFP response process from a revenue blocker into a competitive advantage.

Our software delivers the goods, but our secret sauce is our unique brand and insightful content that wins the hearts and minds of customers, industry leaders, and heck…even the competition (but they’ll never admit it).

In this role, you’ll be a key driver of our content marketing engine—from owning the end-to-end production of our content to helping us strategize our next play and distribution. This role sits on our Brand & Communications team (the creative muscle of the marketing department):

You’ll lead the team that creates content for current (and future) Loopio customers, with a focus on top-of-funnel activity (driving traffic, awareness, and intent).

You'll be working with teams across the company (like Demand Generation, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and People) to create and distribute content that moves the needle on our larger marketing strategies and company growth goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Take the lead on managing content strategy and production—from driving results through day-to-day organic traffic, to executing on large quarterly content projects
  • Act as quality control across a variety of mediums: including emails, our website, the occasional social post, and more
  • Edit and give direction as needed to maintain Loopio’s brand tone & voice to internal and external stakeholders across all our paid and owned channels
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions for ideas to inspire and educate our audience
  • Identify and participate in new distribution opportunities for our industry
  • Manage relationships with external writing vendors and SEO agency, who will support you in executing on our initiatives
  • Confidently track, analyze, and report on key metrics associated with our content marketing success, like web traffic, conversions, SEO rankings, etc.

What You’ll Bring To The Team:

  • 5+ years of experience crafting creative copy and building effective content strategies for B2B software companies
  • You’re passionate about writing and copyediting—and you’ve got the portfolio to prove it. (Bonus points for a variety of channels and formats)
  • You have a strong understanding of the role that content plays in a B2B buyer’s journey (and how it supports growth for the broader organization)
  • You're a remarkable leader, a great manager, and a passionate teacher (all of which is highly valued in Loopio people leaders)
  • You’re comfortable giving direction (and getting feedback) to maintain quality content, from both internal and external stakeholders
  • You know how to produce—and promote—content to drive results, with experience successfully distributing content through a variety of channels
  • A strong execution muscle–this a player/coach role that requires a range of skills from publishing blog posts (through Wordpress), to crafting webinar content, social posts, and more
  • Strong project management skills to manage long-term strategic initiatives, complex projects, and a steady flow of smaller requests
  • You have in-depth experience measuring a content team’s performance in tools like Google Analytics and Search Console (bonus points for a CRM).
  • You are a Master of Pun(s). GIFs. Jokes. You frequently go the extra mile to make your audience smile and infuse fun into your work.

Why You'll Love Working at Loopio:

  • You'll have a manager who coaches you through goal setting, frequent 1-on-1s, and real-time feedback
  • We make transparency and communication a part of how we work; you’ll love our weekly all-hands meeting or quarterly Ask Me Anything sessions with the Senior Leadership Team
  • You’ll have tons of autonomy and responsibility; we have a results-driven environment
  • You’ll learn more than you thought was possible; our team is deeply invested in personal and professional growth
  • You’ll have a piece of the pie; every Loopio employee participates in our stock option plan!
  • You’ll participate in a holistic health and benefits plan that kicks in on day one!
  • The career growth opportunities are endless at a successful, high-growth company

We recognize that all too often, potential candidates don’t apply for a position simply because they don’t hit every single criteria included in the job description —particularly members of underrepresented groups .

Whether or not your experience checks off all the boxes on a job posting, we still encourage you to apply to ensure that your application receives a review from our team. We understand that a resume can only showcase so much during the applicant stage, so we've created prompts in the application for you to share more about yourself. If you've made a career transition (or a few!), you’re self taught in a new role, or you have skills/experience you’d like to highlight, we want to hear more about what you could bring to the table.

Loopio is an equal opportunity employer that is deeply committed to building equitable workplaces that are diverse and inclusive. We actively encourage candidates from all backgrounds and lifestyles to consider us as a future employer. Please contact a member of our Talent Experience team ( ) should you require accommodations at any point during our virtual interview processes.
