Job Summary

The Communications Manager will primarily support Compass Technology while also engaging in Compass Digital initiatives. They will develop strategic communication campaigns to simplify complex technology initiatives for various hospitality professionals. Acting as an advocate, they ensure effective communication to all Compass Group audiences. Additionally, they support internal and culture-forward communications within technology teams. This Intermediate to Senior Level individual contributor role involves managing workflow with SMEs and stakeholders across the organization.

Now if you were to come on board as one of our Senior Communications Manager’s we’d ask you to do the following for us:

• Collaborate with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to simplify complex technical information for broader audiences.
• Create internal technical briefs and communication materials.
• Lead initiatives with Technology teams to promote awareness, adoption, and utilization of new and existing technologies within Compass Group.
• Serve as a liaison for Technology matters, fostering relationships across internal communication and operational teams.
• Partner with various teams to establish training programs, communication strategies, and documentation.
• Establish and refine procedures for a new technology communications practice.
• Expand involvement in internal events, activities, and support for people development and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) such as Women in Technology and the Digital Future Initiative.
• Develop technology-focused content for social media platforms to enhance the Compass Technology brand.
• Explore opportunities for external recruitment efforts.
