Job Purpose

The primary role of the Product Development Coordinator is to actively contribute to the management of software products at The Config Team by coordinating their development, delivery, and continuous improvement.

The focus of this role is to ensure that our suite of software products consistently meets the highest standards of quality, usability, and market relevance. By employing methodologies such as Agile and Scrum with robust stakeholder engagement, the role will be key in facilitating the software product innovation process. This ensures that our software products are not only maintained but also adapted to meet evolving market needs, ensuring their continued viability and relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside other senior software team members to lead the development and management of The Config Team's software products using methodologies such as Agile & Scrum.
• Support the product management team to manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Assist with the management of product development across multiple teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• To lead and manage Scrum meetings and product sprints, liaising with relevant teams to meet objectives.
• Support the coordination cross-functional teams to ensure all team members are aligned, motivated and project deliverables are successfully met.
• Coordinate the management of the product backlog and prioritize requirements based on changing needs.
• Support the product team, the sales and marketing teams, and other teams to ensure a product vision suitable for market needs.
• Keep up to date with product management relevant trends, best practice, techniques, and technology, suggesting any appropriate new approaches.
• Support senior management in evaluating existing products and forming product development strategies.
• Act as an aid for the liaison between stakeholders and development teams, gathering requirements and translating them into clear, actionable tasks.

Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge

• Proven experience as a Product Development Coordinator or similar role, preferably with a focus on Agile methodologies and Scrum.

• Experience assisting with the management of multiple products and teams simultaneously, with a strong track record of aiding successful product delivery.

• Ability to gather and analyze requirements for software products, translating them into actionable plans for development teams.
