Your mission
We are currently looking for an Agile Product Owner (PO) for our teams based in Plano, Texas, The USA. This is a hybrid position and can be done partially remotely
As an effective Agile PO you will be responsible for defining goals and establishing the vision for development projects for the product development team, while assisting in formulation and execution of quality standard tests. Serving as an expert focused on delivering results to clients.
Key responsibilities
- You own the creation and development of product vision, product roadmap, User Stories and supporting documentation (e.g., images, wireframes, use cases).
- You ensure user stories are “ready” for development to start work.
- You ensure each story has the correct acceptance criteria.
- You gather, manage, and prioritizes the product backlog.
- You work closely with software development, Scrum Master to ensure the right customer problem is solved. This can involve sharing market research and competitive analysis with the team to best focus their efforts.
- Track progress towards the release of a product.
- The Product Owner may be asked to work on some or all the following tasks:
- Define customer needs and the associated features to meet those needs.
- Advocates on behalf of the customer for the development team.
- Prioritizes defect or bug resolution.
- Assists in facilitating client onboarding.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or related fields.
- Certification as a Product Owner with advanced Scrum expertise.
- Strong communication and servant leadership skills.
- Proficient in interpreting User Stories and aligning solutions with client needs.
- Analytical mindset for evaluating solution design alternatives.
- Effective troubleshooting and problem management abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication for technical articulation.
- Ability to derive solutions from ambiguous requirements and convey them clearly.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with engineering methodologies, tools, and database management.
- Proficiency in customer service techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and timely decision-making abilities.
- Subject matter expertise in relevant industries or technical domains.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
