ABOUT THE JOB
As the Theatre Sales Manager, you will be a key player in driving the operational aspects of our marketing and sales efforts. This role involves strategic oversight and hands-on management to ensure the effective execution of campaigns aimed at increasing engagement, driving ticket sales, and expanding our audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Lead the development and implementation of marketing campaigns with a strong focus on sales targets and revenue generation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication and workflow across teams, ensuring the timely creation and deployment of marketing materials.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize advanced analytics to evaluate campaign performance, generating insights to guide future marketing strategies.
- Budget Management: Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications to oversee the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact and efficiency.
- Project Management: Manage marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time and within scope.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Negotiate with and manage external vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of services and materials.
SALARY RANGE:
$65,000 — $69,000
BENEFITS:
Benefits include health, dental, plus 15 vacation days, 5 sick days, and 5 personal days.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- You have a deep passion for the arts and theatre in particular.
- You are a strategic thinker with a robust background in sales within the arts sector.
- Known for your ability to lead and execute complex sales-focused campaigns, you are adept at driving operational efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations.
- Your strong interpersonal skills make you excellent at fostering teamwork and you are committed to fostering an inclusive work environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
YOUR TRACK RECORD
- A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, supplemented by extensive experience in marketing operations, preferably in the arts or a similar sector.
- Deep understanding of the sales cycle in the performing arts.
- Demonstrated ability in managing budgets, leading teams, and executing marketing strategies.
- A deep understanding of audience segmentation and data analysis using a sophisticated CRM system (preferably Tessitura).
