Job Description - VP, Sales

Packetlabs was built by an ethical hacker after seeing vulnerability assessments presented as penetration tests. To do so, we only hire individuals with the same drive and passion.As the VP, Sales at Packetlabs, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will lead a dynamic sales team, develop strategic sales plans, and foster key client relationships. Your expertise in cybersecurity solutions and proven sales leadership track record will be essential in achieving our company's objectives.We Are Looking For An Individual Who

  • Has a proven sales leadership track record, with at least 5 years of experience in progressively responsible roles.
  • Has a strong understanding of sales metrics (KPIs) and can translate activities to outcomes.
  • Is a strategic thinker who can develop and execute sales strategies that drive results.
  • Is radically transparent and avoids working in silos in order to win as a company.
What You’ll Be DoingDevelop and retain a strong sales team
  • Provide learning and career opportunities to retain top talent
  • Ensure diversity and inclusiveness are practiced throughout the team

  • Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor sales representatives to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales activities.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and conduct performance reviews for sales team members.
  • Take proactive measures to address challenges and obstacles hindering sales performance.
Establish and execute the Sales strategy
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and forecast accuracy, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Bring best practices and techniques into Sales training and effectiveness
  • Analyze and report on sales data to improve decision-making and marketing initiatives (e.g., client pain points, service offerings)
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments for expansion.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to anticipate market needs and opportunities.
  • Leverage Marketing initiatives to advance Sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with Operations to analyze and action lessons learned
Manage Inbound Sales Process
  • Monitor and enhance the Inbound Sales Process
  • Work collectively and collaboratively with the Marketing team to drive sales effectiveness
  • Ensure all opportunities are tracked and followed up on
  • Develop learnings from won and lost opportunities; make continuous improvements based on feedback
Manage Outbound Sales Process
  • Monitor and enhance the Outbound Sales Process
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Build and manage target account list; identify prospect customers within targeted accounts, call planning and forecasting
  • Ensure all opportunities are tracked and followed up on
  • Develop learnings from won and lost opportunities; make continuous improvements based on feedback
Nurture existing clients to create and maintain sales opportunities
  • Leverage NPS scores to provide lead service review
  • Check-in with clients on a regular basis to discover new opportunities
  • Ensure all opportunities are tracked and followed up on
  • Monitor client churn, and provide learnings to make improvements to the Client Journey
Establish + Execute Partnership Strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop target accounts strategy and territory division based on geographical regions
  • Manage relationships of partners and develop net-new relationships
