Job Description:

As a PR Associate at Dick’s Sporting Goods, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations campaigns to promote the company's brand and products. This role will involve working closely with the marketing team to create compelling content for press releases, media pitches, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts to secure coverage for Dick’s Sporting Goods - Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other materials to generate positive publicity - Monitor media coverage and provide analysis of key trends and opportunities - Assist in the planning and execution of special events, product launches, and other PR initiatives - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Energetic and motivated personality - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to analyze data and provide insights to inform PR strategies - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
