Remote Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Edison International is seeking a dedicated Remote Communications Specialist to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively engage with stakeholders - Write and edit content for various communication channels including press releases, social media, and internal newsletters - Coordinate and execute virtual events, webinars, and conference calls - Monitor and analyze media coverage and social media trends - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms - Provide support for crisis communication efforts as needed - Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with media contacts and key stakeholders - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communications

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Resilient and resourceful personality traits - Persuasion and presentation soft skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask - Knowledge of corporate social responsibility practices is a plus
