Position Title: Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) – Cold Lake
Status: 2 Positions – Permanent Full Time
Location: Cold Lake - South Station

Shift: *1700-1700 

Rotation: 4 days on; 4 days off 

Schedule: *Core/Flex

Effective start date: *ASAP

*The core/flex units are part of a 90-day Peak Car pilot project running from June 15 to September 15, with potential for a 90 day extension. The successful candidates will work a 4-on / 4-off shift rotation from 13:00 to 01:00 as per below:

Peak Car

Position Title: Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) – Cold Lake
Status: 2 Positions – Permanent Full Time
Location: Cold Lake - South Station

Shift: 1300-0100 

Rotation: 4 days on; 4 days off

Schedule: Peak Unit

Effective dates of schedule: June 15 - September 15, 2025

Please note that Alberta Health Services (AHS) reserves the right to end the project at any time with 30 days’ notice. If the project is not renewed after the 90-day period or is ended early, the unit will revert to the core-flex model as per the schedule noted above.

Qualifications Required: 

• Valid Alberta Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) practice permit meeting provincial EMS standards.


• Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license.


• Up-to-date with all mandatory training requirements, including Medical Communications Protocols (MCP) and Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC).
