We are seeking a qualified and experienced Truck and Coach Technician with a 310T certification for our client in Sudbury, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and coaches to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and coaches according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Replace or repair faulty components and systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
• Test repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, developments, and advancements in truck and coach technology.
  
  

• 310T certification as a Truck and Coach Technician.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is an asset.
• Proven experience as a truck and coach technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with heavy-duty truck and coach systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
