Lakehead Freightways Inc is looking for a Truck and coach Technician. Our Technicians, Trucks, and Coaches are critical to our business, and with a positive attitude and strong technical expertise, they will continue to make Lakehead Freightways one of Canada's most successful LTL Carriers in the Industry.

We are seeking a skilled 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic to join our team in Thunder Bay, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of trucks and coaches, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and coaches
• Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify potential problems
• Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest truck and coach technologies and repair techniques
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards

• Valid 310T certification
• Proven experience as a truck and coach mechanic
• In-depth knowledge of truck and coach mechanical systems
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers
• Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various positions
• Willingness to work steady day shifts
