Job Description - Account Executive, Mid-Market Franchise

7shifts is a scheduling and payroll platform designed to help restaurant teams thrive. As the Account Executive, Mid-Market Franchise at 7shifts, you will partner with national brands to drive Billed MRR growth and expand our customer base using our industry-leading tools. Reporting to the Manager, Mid-Market Sales, you will own the full sales cycle and help franchisees adopt our platform through cold outreach, relationship building, and solution-focused selling. We are seeking a results-driven professional who is passionate about transforming the restaurant industry, simplifying team management, and helping restaurants improve performance through practical, high-impact solutions.


What you’ll do:



  • Drive the full sales cycle using industry-leading SaaS sales methods, focusing on small franchise brands (1–9 locations), and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

  • Manage a prioritized book of leads from outbound, inbound, partnerships, and events, prospecting through calls, emails, texts, video messaging, social selling, and in-person meetings

  • Leverage AI-driven prospecting tools, strategies, and internal data to identify high-potential accounts and craft highly personalized messaging

  • Build and nurture relationships with corporate teams and franchise business consultants to support national partner rollouts and drive franchise adoption and growth

  • Use top sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Zendesk, Slack) to track and manage your pipeline while becoming an expert on 7shifts’ products, industry trends, and account details

  • Identify and help solve inefficiencies in processes to scale the Mid-Market function

  • Travel as needed to industry events, including trade shows, customer conferences, and hospitality alliances across North America


What you bring:



  • 2+ years of experience in a revenue-focused SaaS role

  • A passion for cold calling and outbound selling

  • Proven ability to manage a sales funnel with multiple lead sources

  • A track record of success in a quota-carrying role

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs

  • A willingness to learn, grow, and help scale the Franchise sales motion

  • Willingness to travel as needed


It’d be even cooler if you had:



  • Experience working a full sales cycle

  • SaaS Sales Training Certification

  • Knowledge of restaurant operations


This role is an existing vacancy and is part of our current hiring plan.


Compensation


The base compensation range for this position is CAD $65,000 - CAD $108,000 plus sales commission. This range reflects the full growth path for the role, from building core skills to accomplished performance, through to role mastery. We typically target the accomplished level when hiring externally. At this level, individuals bring relevant experience in the role, demonstrate strong job-related skills, operate with confidence and consistency, and are able to deliver impact with limited ramp-up while still having meaningful opportunity to grow.


Compensation at 7shifts is performance and growth-driven. As you develop your skills and expand your impact over time, your compensation grows with you. Your specific placement within this range is based on your job-related skills, knowledge, and experience, as well as our internal equity assessment.
