About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Canada West, the Account Manager will be responsible for targeted sales activities within assigned business accounts, generating product growth, and ensuring a smooth, positive customer experience. This role works closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams, requiring a collaborative mindset and a strong understanding of Richards’ products.

The successful applicant will:

• Build strong relationships with assigned business accounts and act as their primary point of contact.


• Qualify inbound leads and uncover customer needs.


• Generate new sales opportunities within existing and new accounts.


• Support customers with orders, returns, pricing, and product information.


• Ensure smooth order processing and follow through using our ERP and CRM systems.


• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams to deliver seamless customer experience.


• Maintain accurate CRM records and track all sales activities.


• Participate in occasional customer site visits with Outside Sales.

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

• Post‑secondary Degree or Diploma or 1–3 years of relevant work experience in Sales or Customer Service.


• 1+ years of experience in customer service or sales.


• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.


• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an asset.


• A proactive, positive, solution‑oriented mindset.


• Ability to build trust, handle challenges, and support customers with care.
