Role Description:
Reports to: Supervisor, Accounting Administration
The Accounting Administrator is responsible for supporting the Residential Finance team by ensuring accurate financial transactions, timely processing of all revenue and resident-related accounting functions. This includes managing resident ledger transactions, bank reconciliations, wire payment and other related task.
This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities:
Process Cash Management Account (CMA) and wire bank transfers accurately and on schedule.
Ensure timely receipt and payment of property tax bills.
Follow up on missing cheque receipts for ancillary and commercial revenue, including commercial parking.
Complete security deposit month-end transfers in accordance with company policies.
Perform bank reconciliation follow-ups to resolve discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve NSF transactions.
Support AGI/ARI application filings.
Process non-tenant receipts such as social housing, laundry, and antenna revenue.
Administer resident payments through QuadReal Connect or other Online platforms and ensure accurate posting.
Monitor sub-metering and utility rebill processes for accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain vacant unit utility bills and manage utility recovery for occupied units.
Assist with special projects and assignments as directed.
Provide support to Revenue Administrators and Property Accountants as needed.
Experience and Qualifications:
Energetic self-starter with a strong financial acumen and 2–5 years of accounting experience.
Post-secondary education in business or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager experience is an asset.
Collaborative team player with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Professional and collaborative team player with a positive attitude.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $58,000-$65,000 per year.
Based on the position, QuadReal offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which may include a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, pension plan, and paid time off.
