What you’ll do:

Our accounts payable administrator will work within the accounting team to ensure that invoices and expenses are paid in a timely manner and recorded properly. Using our accounting software and Microsoft programs you will ensure that cheque and payment runs are completed accurately.

• Process all required manual cheques
• Reconcile Canadian and US credit cards
• Record and organize accounts payable invoices in an effective manner, ensuring all vendor payments are made on time
• Report and track staff allowances and expenses
• Take on other responsibilities as asked to support the administrative team

What you bring:

• 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office as well as accounting softwares
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• A post-secondary certificate with an accounting designation would be considered and asset
• Experience in agriculture or reception would be considered an asset
