How you'll contribute
Student Services
- Serve as the first point of contact at the IC front desk for staff, students, and visitors
- Respond to inquiries from current and prospective students in person, by email, phone, and Freshdesk
- Triage inquiries to the appropriate international staff when required
Financial Administration
- Add and update agent information and commission payments in Vas
- Process invoices, requisitions, agent commission payments, and credit card reconciliations
- Gather and maintain accurate student records and provide eligible commission lists to ARC for processing
- Manage and reconcile IC invoices and expenses, including memberships and travel‑related costs
- Compile updated information and data for the agent webpage
- Track and update agent student applications in Vas to support strong conversion rates
Administrative Support and Coordination
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees
- Support IC team members with administrative tasks such as printing and photocopying
- Order supplies and equipment for the IC
- Maintain a tidy and stocked kitchen, including water orders
- Manage printer maintenance and ensure availability of printing supplies
What you bring
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Business Administration, International Relations, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Two to three years of full‑time administrative experience in a Canadian post‑secondary institution or similar environment, preferably supporting international learners or clientele
Skills
- Intercultural competency and strong interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Outlook, web research, Banner, and Freshdesk
- Knowledge of SAIT programs, services, and resources
- Understanding of Canada’s immigration system as it relates to international students
