PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Administrator, Training and Development is the lead in the design, delivery, and evaluation of systemâwide learning and staff development initiatives that enhance employee effectiveness, engagement, and organizational capacity.
This role leads the development of longâterm and annual learning strategies, supports leadership and organizational development, and ensures alignment with the Library’s Purpose, Values, Strategic Goals, and legislative obligations. The emphasis of this position is on planning, program design, continuous improvement, and organizational impact, rather than dayâtoâday training administration.
This role works collaboratively with the Administrator, Employee Learning role to ensure continuity, coordination, and effective delivery of employee learning, development, and health and safety programs. The position provides back-up as required to maintain service levels, share knowledge, and support peak periods, planned absences, or organizational priorities, while maintaining primary accountability for assigned areas of responsibility.

This is an Excluded position from the Bargaining unit.
Salary:
Administrator: $37.775 - $53.228 per hour
