Advisor, Hydro Lands - Fixed Term 12 Months

Job Purpose:

The Advisor, Hydro Lands under the Sales Easements and Transactions team will be a key member of the team helping to administer the Provincial Secondary Land Use Program (PSLUP), on the corridor lands (Bill 58 lands).

• Work directly with internal stake holders and our partners Hydro One in running the Provincial Secondary Land Use Program (PSLUP).
• Track, monitor and process secondary land use transactions (easements, licenses, and sales).
• Prepare written materials necessary to recommend and document approval of agreements.
• Ensure high profile projects are managed proactively with Hydro One and 3rd parties to support government initiatives.
• Administer, coordinate and report financial obligations for the Secondary Land Use program for the monthly Multi-Year Sales Plan (MYSP) & Real Estate Sales Dashboard (RESD).

• A Community College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate management and land transactions.
• An individual with the strong organization skills, time management and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests (MOI, Hydro One, internal).
• Experience and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence decisions in favour of a collaborative outcome.
• Experience with a navigation mapping system is considered an asset.
• A high proficiency working with Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The salary range for this position is$71,300 to $107,000, with a corresponding job level ofP3.
