Position Overview

This Aerospace Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting production activities through the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components using a variety of tools, equipment, and machinery. The role includes completing production documentation, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and contributing to overall shop operations while upholding the high standards of the Alpine Aerotech brand.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal including deburring, drilling, CNC/cold forming, riveting, dimpling, resistance welding, grinding, sanding, and blasting.

  • Operate machinery in support of production activities including press brakes, riveter/dimplers, resistance welders, pneumatic hand tools, etc.

  • Complete documentation, assign inventory, and allocate labour to work orders as required.

  • Perform various production and shop related activities.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Support additional tasks and projects as required.

  • Uphold the high standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand.

What You’ll Bring to our Team

  • Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables.

  • Strong time management and self-motivation.

  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships.

  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.

  • Mindset to work smarter, not harder.
