Are you excited to lead an affiliate program and have a direct impact on company growth? We’re looking for an Affiliates and Partnerships Manager to join us at Thinkific.

As an Affiliates and Partnerships Manager, you will be the go-to partnerships expert! You will flex your technical knowledge and directly oversee Thinkific’s affiliate and agency partnership programs. Reporting to the Director of Performance Advertising, you’ll bring new ideas to the table and test innovative ways to scale our partnerships program. This includes, but is not limited to: conducting audits, identifying process improvements, reviewing landing pages (conversion rate optimization), negotiating partner contracts, fraud detection, and improving Thinkific’s ranking on organic affiliate-owned pages.

Your goal will be to explore new opportunities, increase participation in current partnerships, enable partners to achieve their first sale, and grow the affiliates program. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this:

• Own the strategy, growth, execution, and efficiency of the affiliate and partner program
• Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities to identify areas of market opportunity and procedural improvement
• Build and maintain valuable relationships with our top-performing partners and work with them to improve performance through custom campaigns and initiatives
• Monitor and analyze relevant data to evaluate channel effectiveness and return on investment
• Optimize our program infrastructure and tools (ie: PartnerStack, Looker, Mixpanel, Stripe), providing basic technical support and investigating inquiries from partners and internal team members
• Outline annual and quarterly targets, and build detailed work plans to achieve consistent program growth
• Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Platform, Customer Support, and Customer Education) to ensure partners have everything they need to be successful
• Engage select agencies to advance our partnership program through monthly campaigns, affiliate recruitment, and program enhancements (pay-to-play or upfront media buys)

The person we have in mind likely:

• Has 5+ years of affiliates or partnership marketing experience for an established SaaS brand
• Possesses deep knowledge and understanding of the SaaS marketing industry and the nuances that go into building a compelling and successful partnerships program
• Has previous experience nurturing relationships with new and existing partners with the purpose of activating, engaging, and growing program participation
• Demonstrates a love for data and embraces a growth mindset—they are metrics driven and can draw insights through analysis of program data to build a strategy for growth
• Has used Partnerstack, ShareASale, Impact or similar platforms
• Loves to learn and grow. They’ve found (and keep looking for) ways to level up their skills in this field, whether that’s through formal education, gaining professional experience, or maybe even building their own business

These things would also be nice, but we think you could learn them on the job:

• Has an established network of affiliate partners that could promote Thinkific
• Holds a track record of experience running influencer marketing, referral marketing (referral loops), or strategic technology partnership initiatives
• Has an understanding of APIs, integrations for tracking sales, and partner attribution.

The recruitment compensation range for this position is $107,000- $133,000 CAD
