After School Buddies Co-Chair (2)

Honorarium Position
Spearhead unique initiatives to engage the student body in raising awareness and funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kingston. Assist in planning events while fostering a collaborative and welcoming environment for committee members and volunteers alike. Work closely with your Co-Chair, the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners, and the Community Outreach Commissioner to make a tangible and lasting impact in the Queen’s community.

Expected Time Commitment and Remuneration

12-month term from May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026 with a time commitment of 5 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize weekly meetings with the committee
• Work with your co-chair and committee to organize and execute events and initiatives
• Hire committee members and volunteers and act as a liaison between all parties
• Maintain contact with the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners and the Community Outreach Commissioner to best access ASUS resources
• Assist in Commission-wide meetings, events, and initiatives
