About the role:

Smooth Commerce is looking for an Agile Coordinator to run the operational backbone of our Product team. You will own the day-to-day agile process: facilitating ceremonies, keeping the backlog clean and prioritized, tracking sprint metrics, and reporting status to leadership. You will also act as the intake point between Client Services, Sales, and Product, making sure incoming requests are captured, contextualized, and surfaced for prioritization.

This is a hands-on coordination role for someone organized, communicative, and comfortable working across both technical and commercial teams. It is an excellent entry point into agile delivery, with a clear path to grow into a Coordinator, Technical Product Manager, or Product Manager track as the company scales.

What will you be doing?

• Facilitate and continually improve Product ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) so each one has a clear purpose and produces a concrete output.


• Maintain a clean, prioritized backlog in partnership with the Technical Product Manager and product leads.


• Publish a weekly Product readout to leadership and Sales summarizing what shipped, what is in flight, what is blocked, and what is coming next, designed as a five-minute read.


• Triage incoming Client Services and Sales requests into Product: dedupe, capture context, and surface for prioritization.


• Track and report sprint metrics, including velocity, cycle time, completion rate, and escaped defects.


• Chase blockers to resolution and follow through on retrospective action items.


• Coordinate release communications so that internal teams, including Client Services and Sales, are informed before clients are.


• Keep boards, trackers, and process documentation accurate and up to date.

What are we looking for?

• 1 to 3 years of experience in agile delivery, project coordination, scrum facilitation, or a similar operational role.


• Working knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and the ceremonies that support them.


• Hands-on experience with Jira or comparable project management and issue-tracking tools.


• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce a concise, executive-ready weekly readout.


• Confident and capable of using AI tools to work more efficiently, while applying sound human judgment to decisions rather than deferring to automated output. 


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to keep multiple work streams and stakeholders on track.


• Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and commercial teams in a fast-paced environment, including remote teams across time zones.


• A Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.


• Experience in a SaaS, restaurant tech, or hospitality environment is a plus.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
