Job Description - Aide Social/Social Assistant

This position is reserved for Inuit/JBNQA beneficiary who resides in the community.

Translation in Inuktitut will be available shortly

As
a Social
Assistant, you will perform psychosocial
tasks and develop, organize and lead activities of promotion and prevention
with young families, under the supervision of the Coordinator SIPPE (FASD)
based in Kuujjuaq, and in collaboration with the Family House and CLSC staff in
your community.

More specifically, your
functions includes:

• Home visits (safety kit, etc.)
• Early stimulation (home, daycare, etc.)
• Baby shower (FASD prevention)
• Radio capsules
• And other activities included in the program

En tant qu'assistant social, vous effectuerez des tÃ¢ches psychosociales et dÃ©velopperez, organiserez et dirigerez des activitÃ©s de promotion et de prÃ©vention auprÃ¨s des jeunes familles, sous la supervision du coordonnateur SIPPE (FASD) basÃ© Ã Kuujjuaq, et en collaboration avec le personnel de la Maison familiale et du CLSC de votre communautÃ©.

Plus prÃ©cisÃ©ment, vos fonctions comprennent :

• Visites Ã domicile (trousse de sÃ©curitÃ©, etc.)

• Stimulation prÃ©coce (Ã domicile, Ã la garderie, etc.)
