Job Description - Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Electronics

AEM designs, develops, and manufactures avionics products. We are an approved OEM supplier of aircraft components to several helicopter OEMs such as Bell, Boeing, Leonardo, Airbus Helicopters, and Sikorsky. Our continued growth has resulted in the expansion of our customer technical support team! AEM has an opening to join our amazing team of customer centric people as a Technical Support Specialist. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, this position is well-suited for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer- Category E (Electronics) who is knowledgeable of helicopter avionics aircraft requirements and enjoys problem solving and interacting with customers.

About the Role



You will interact with AEM customers, primarily North America time zones, by email, phone, Teams. You will listen to the customers, ask questions about their specific aircraft requirements and provide options and solutions. You will liaise internally within the Technical Support team, our R&D department, and Sales. You will develop configurations of AEM products to suit customer needs (avionics, digital audio systems, and special mission radios).


Success Factors



Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Electronics

Preferable three+ years industry experience with knowledge of H125/ASTAR/AS350 and H145/EC145/BK117 Helicopters and cockpit layouts

Customer service and detail-oriented

Ability to document and maintain information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system Sales force (training will be provided)

Strong ability to read and interpret complex aircraft wiring drawings

Ability to successfully pass a criminal record check.
