Job Description - Alliance Business Manager

Starkey Canada is hiring for an Alliance Business Manager to support our Starkey Canada group. The position services and grows the Starkey Hearing Alliance Network accounts for Canada by working with the Sales teams and other internal departments to provide value to the Starkey Hearing Alliance Network customers. This includes, but is not limited to, developing account growth plans, providing business solutions, and connecting available business services to our loyal customers. The position is responsible for covering a large number of customers within assigned territory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS



  • Work with local commercial leadership and US counterparts to develop and create a Minimum Viable Product for the Starkey Canada Alliance program: business terms and conditions, qualifications, business and consulting services, marketing services and resources and clinical best practices etc.

  • Continually evaluate customer needs and propose viable Program modifications, as needed.

  • Define Alliance Program goals and action plans in partnership with sales and marketing. This includes Alliance members with and without a loan and supply agreement.

  • Consult with Alliance members on quarterly account goals and objectives to understand training, business, marketing and outreach needs .

  • Identify and produce high-quality leads through constant engagements with partners including office visits, sales team training/coaching, marketing strategies, trade shows, and more.

  • Own and Coordinate with TM, ISR and Trainer appropriate account coverage, activity and call plans based on SPRINT strategies, inclusive of sales objectives and annual growth targets for Alliance members.

  • Work with internal teams on Issue/Resolution Triage, management and communication of resolution to Alliance members

  • Develop and implement an Alliance growth plan: target and develop new Alliance members based on business need, account size and potential.

  • Utilize the value of the Alliance program to target and develop new opportunities for Loan and Supply Agreements

  • Monitor customer feedback and escalate opportunities and complaints

  • Conduct comprehensive Quarterly customer business reviews with all Alliance members

    • Be a subject matter expert on:

    • Business Operations and Clinic Management – KPIs, financial benchmarking

    • Retail Marketing – Lead generation, Traditional/digital marketing strategy Clinical best practices

    • Customer and Industry Liaisons



  • Communication

    • Generate excitement for launch, and with assistance in marketing, coordinate a quarterly communication strategy to the entirety of the membership.

    • Lead training and trip communications and logistics



  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS


Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements



  • Education 

    • 4-year college degree preferred

    • Hearing Instrumentation degree preferred



  • Experience 

    • At least 5 years of Hearing Industry experience

    • 3+ sales or alliance experience required

    • Experience with business KPI’s and performance metrics




Knowledge / Technical Requirements



  • Microsoft Office 365

  • Salesforce

  • Proficient problem-solving, analytical abilities, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required

  • Friendly, upbeat, and positive attitude as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


The annual salary for this position is between $84,800 - $126,000 / year .  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
