Week 1 – Foundations for Success
A comprehensive onboarding experience covering Alpha's business, consulting fundamentals, core tools, professional skills, and what it means to be a successful consultant.
Week 2 – Shadow
Shadow live client engagements and experienced consultants to gain firsthand exposure to how consulting teams operate, solve problems, and deliver value to clients.
Week 3 – Start Making an Impact
Join a project team and begin contributing to client work, applying the skills and knowledge developed during your onboarding experience.
Months 1–12 – Continuous Growth & Development
Your development doesn't stop after onboarding. Our consultants help clients improve operating models, enhance client and advisor experiences, navigate industry change, and deliver large-scale transformation initiatives across their organizations.
A Day in the Life
As an Analyst, you'll work as part of a consulting team supporting high-impact projects for leading investment firms. Your day may include analyzing data, conducting industry research, building presentations for senior stakeholders, participating in client workshops, and helping develop recommendations to solve business challenges. You'll gain exposure to strategy, operations, technology, and organizational transformation while working directly with experienced consultants and client leaders.
Alpha's Asset & Wealth Management Technology Consulting team helps leading investment and wealth management firms modernize their technology, data, and digital capabilities. Consultants work with clients to implement new financial services platforms, improve data architecture, streamline business processes, and unlock better insights through analytics and reporting.
As a Solutions Analyst, you'll work alongside consultants, engineers, and client teams to solve technology and data challenges. Your day may include gathering business requirements, analyzing data, supporting enterprise-level system implementations, building reports and dashboards, testing new functionality, and helping clients optimize their technology ecosystems. You'll gain exposure to leading IMS (investment management systems), cloud, data, and analytics platforms while developing the technical and consulting skills needed to drive transformation across the asset and wealth management industry.
Alpha Alternatives partners with leading private equity, private credit, real assets, infrastructure, asset management, and insurance firms to solve complex business, operational, and technology challenges. Consultants work alongside clients to improve how investments are managed, data is leveraged, and organizations operate—helping firms transform and scale in an increasingly digital world.
A Day in the Life
As an Analyst in Alpha Alternatives, you'll work as part of a consulting team supporting client projects across the alternative investments industry. Your day may include analyzing data, conducting research, building presentations, gathering business requirements, participating in client meetings, and helping develop solutions to operational and technology challenges. You'll gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle—from deal origination and portfolio management to performance reporting, risk management, valuations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
