AltaGas - Sr Communications Advisor

The Senior Communications Advisor plays a critical role in developing and executing the internal communications strategy for the organization.

You Will:

• Create and deliver compelling communications content to engage employees and strengthen corporate culture, such as email updates, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations

• Create and manage internal campaigns across communication channels that amplify internal initiatives and drive engagement

• Uphold, champion, and continuously elevate internal brand standards to ensure consistency and strengthen internal brand identity

• Ensure internal messages are communicated clearly, timely, and effectively to unite cross-functional teams across different geographies

• Monitor and evaluate communication trends and business needs to continuously improve the effectiveness of employee communication strategies, methods, and platforms

• Liaise with internal partners to provide top-tier internal communications, offering guidance, tools, and best practices that support strategies and initiatives

• Support internal communications projects as assigned by the Sr Director, Corporate Communications

You Have:

• 7+ Years of internal communications

• Ability to meet deadlines, and work under pressure on several projects simultaneously

• Ability to work effectively with all levels of company personnel, including senior management

• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to design and execute communications campaigns

• Experience with social media tools, as well as design software such as Adobe suite of products would be an asset as would internet and website technical skills

• Strong command of Office 365 Suite of products including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.

• Knowledge of the Gas and Utility industries is an asset

• Bachelor's Degree relevant discipline preferred
