As a key member of the Supply Management team, the AMT Sales Associate Lead will report to the Manager, Material Control and lead the AMT Sales Associate team in all Supply Management activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate handling of parts, shipments, inventory, and certifications, while maintaining compliance with company policies and operational standards. The position also supports team development, interdepartmental communication, and efficient workflow within the MRO division.
Team Leadership and Coordinationâ¯
- Guide AMT Sales Associates, assign tasks, and ensureâ¯timelyâ¯completion.â¯
- Monitor workflow, prioritize daily tasks, and resolve daily routine operational issues.â¯
- Coach team members on proper procedures, certifications, and shipment practices.â¯
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.â¯
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication with QU Sales, Procurement, Repair & Overhaul, and AMT Sales stakeholders.â¯
Shipping, Inventory, and Certification Oversightâ¯
- Verify all shipments for accuracy, documentation, and regulatory compliance.â¯
- Overseeâ¯locating, pulling, andâ¯relocatingâ¯parts, ensuring correct certifications are attached.â¯
- Oversee consignment inventory builds, consignment processing, andâ¯aircraftâ¯part-outs.â¯
- Proactively report discrepancies or issues to the QU Sales Manager.â¯
Reporting, Quality Assurance, and Complianceâ¯
- Ensureâ¯timelyâ¯andâ¯accurateâ¯reporting of operational metrics, shipment statuses, and inventory updates.â¯
- Conduct routine quality checks, reviewâ¯team workâ¯for accuracy, and implement corrective actions.â¯
- Ensure the AMT warehouseâ¯complies withâ¯all company store policies and procedures.â¯
- Communicate operational updates and provide guidance for continuous process improvement.â¯
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, logistics, or supply management within an aviation or MRO environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or Procurement (PMAC/CPSC or equivalent) is an asset.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification, Forklift license required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word, with strong data entry skills.
- Experience using inventory-related software (e.g., WinAir) is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
- Leadership, team support, and the ability to help plan and organize daily operations while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Location and Other Key Details:
- You will work out of our North Bay head office.
- This position starts at $22.93/hour (plus a $2.00 lead premium), with compensation commensurate with experience.
- There are 2 positions available: Days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) and Evenings (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM).
