The role involves collecting and interpreting market and property data across Canada, maintaining and supporting databases, and assisting in the development of client-ready reports and deliverables.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- As part of the Seniors Housing & Healthcare team, this role would support consulting and appraisal assignments by providing research, data analysis, and administrative assistance.
- Conduct in-depth market research to gather, verify, and maintain accurate market data using online tools, field-based research, and direct outreach to market participants.
- Manage and update internal databases to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability.
- Assist in report preparation by conducting supporting analysis, collecting and interpreting market and property data, and contributing to the development of client-ready reports and written deliverables.
- Assist with necessary research and map creation in relevant GIS software.
- Assist with macro analysis of internal and external data to identify and interpret market trends.
- Collaborate and support the efforts of the practice to ensure exceptional service to our clients.
SKILLS
- Detail-Oriented – Demonstrates a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Analytical Perspective – Ability to interpret data through both quantitative and qualitative lenses
- Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication with clarity and professionalism
- Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. Working knowledge of Access. Experience with, or willingness to learn, GIS tools such as ArcGIS
- Accountability – Demonstrates reliability, resilience, and a commitment to delivering results
- Adaptability – Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Growth Focus- Willingness to further develop knowledge of commercial valuation and market feasibility analysis
- Resourcefulness – Proactive in identifying efficient ways to gather and validate data
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, data science, urban geography, or a related field with a focus on real estate, analysis, or market research
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel; Working knowledge of Access and other Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent command of the English language. Please note that English is the primary language used in the office environment. Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: Salary of $55,000 - $65,000
