About the role: 
 
Are you passionate about transforming data into strategic insights that drive business value? We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our central Analytics team.
 
Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Supply Chain, the Analyst Supply Chain Management is a key partner in our continuous improvement journey. You will move beyond standard reporting to provide deep, actionable intelligence across the entire procurement lifecycle—from sourcing and contracting to purchasing and warehouse management. You will be responsible for developing the metrics, KPIs, and pricing models that empower our teams to make smarter, data-driven decisions.
 
To be successful, you must be a natural problem-solver with a strong analytical and quantitative mindset. We need someone who is intellectually curious, adept at storytelling with data, and skilled at collaborating with diverse stakeholders to understand their challenges and provide innovative solutions. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can manage projects independently and thrives on turning complex data into clear, impactful recommendations.

In this role you will:

    • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
    • Design, develop, and maintain insightful dashboards and KPIs to measure and track performance across procurement, contracting, and warehousing functions
    • Develop and implement forecast pricing models to support category management and strategic contract negotiations
    • Conduct deep-dive analysis into spend data, supplier performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and efficiency improvements
    • Collaborate with Category Managers, Contracts Specialists, Purchasers, Inventory Managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver ad-hoc strategic analysis
    • Act as a subject matter expert for supply chain data, providing guidance and support to internal business partners and leadership
    • Champion data integrity by developing and implementing data quality audits and cleansing processes to ensure our analytics are built on a solid foundation
    • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization in a clear and compelling manner

Requirements:

    • Degree or equivalent experience with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a comparable quantitative field
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query
    • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for creating interactive dashboards and reports
    • Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases
    • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
    • Experience with statistical programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) is an asset
    • Direct experience developing pricing or cost models is an asset
    • Familiarity with Supply Chain modules in an ERP system (e.g., SAP) is an asset
    • Experience working in a supply chain, procurement, or industrial environment is an asset
$83,000 - $103,000 a year
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
